Overview

The Practice Room enables learners to refine skills through continuous skill development and peer review. Learners may view others’ Practice submissions, give and receive feedback, and apply these learnings with additional practice for skill proficiency. 

Each scenario's Practice Room has three tabs: My Practice, Featured, and Gallery.

• My Practice displays all of the learner’s Practice submissions for the given scenario. This allows the learner to review their past submissions and respond to feedback left by other participants.
• Featured contains Practice submissions selected by course admins as an exemplary submission from across the institution.
• Gallery displays Practice submissions from other participants across other courses. The Gallery tab could be hidden from learners depending on settings determined by course admins.

Directions

To access a Practice Room:

After you have submitted a Practice activity, you'll be able to access the Practice Room for that specific scenario.

1. On the left-hand side panel, select the microphone/camera icon.
   
2. Select the desired Practice Scenario from the fly-out panel.
3. You will be directed to the Practice Room.

To access and comment on Practice submissions:

1. In the Practice Room, select the Gallery tab. 
2. Select a submission you wish to review.
3. To comment on the submission, select the comment icon in the bottom-right corner of the video/audio file.
   
4. Select the "T" icon to leave a text comment or the camera icon to leave a video comment.
   1. Text Comment: Enter the text. 
   2. Video Comment: This will launch the in-app recording. When finished recording, select the STOP RECORDING. 
5. Select the blue COMMENT/ADD COMMENT button to save your comment. 
   1. Note: If you were playing the submission when selecting the comment icon, then the comment will be linked to the specific moment in the submission. A timestamp link will appear in the top-right corner of your comment.

To continue practicing the scenario:

A great feature of a Practice Room is that you can elect to practice the scenario again with an unlimited number of takes.

1. When you have entered a Practice Room, select the Practice Again microphone/camera icon.
2. The in-app recording modal will appear and you can record and submit a new Practice submission. Each Practice submission will appear in the My Practice tab of the Practice Room.
