Overview

NovoEd provides customers with the opportunity to define who should access the platform with SSO and who should access it with a traditional password based on email domains. This provides external users, such as contracted course builders, with access to your NovoEd institution when they are not able to access through your identity provider.

Setting Options

The following options can be applied:

• Option 1: All Domains Require SSO
• Option 2: All Domains Require SSO, except specified domains must sign in with a password
• Option 3: Only specific domains require SSO, all other domains must sign in with a password
• Option 4: Users can choose to log in with SSO -or- with a password. (This is the default.)

How to Define Email Domain Settings

If you are an Org Admin and have SSO enabled, reach out to the NovoEd Support Team (hello@novoed.com) to set up your institution's Email Domain Settings. We can support a quick turnaround of setting up Email Domain Settings for your institution.
