Accessing the License & Enrollment Dashboard:
Org admins can access the License and Enrollment Dashboard by clicking the License and Enrollment icon on the left navigation panel. This dashboard provides visibility into the active license usage for your NovoEd institution.
License Usage Summary:
The License Usage Summary provides the number of active licenses in the NovoEd account, and the available licenses for the current contract period. This summary displays unique user accounts (unique email addresses) enrolled in learning experiences that are open during the contract period. The License Dashboard does not apply to every customer. Your Customer Success Manager may not enable this part of the dashboard or leave a short to guide you on how to use the license usage numbers. .
The current contract period is set by the NovoEd Admin in the Edit Institution page. If you see a mistake in your contract period, please work with your Customer Success Manager or write to our help desk for help.
Scroll down the dashboard to find the Enrollments Summary. This section provides detailed information on individual enrollments in the organization and the highest-enrolled courses for a specified time period. An enrollment is defined as a User and Course paring, so a single user may include more than on enrollment.
Click the time frame drop-drow window to filter the enrollment data by a desired date range. Options include predetermined ranges (e.g. Current Contract Period, Last 30 Days, etc.) or a customized entry.
The Total Enrollments chart shows the number of enrollments for the selected time period. This chart also provides the number of enrollees that have logged into the course, as long as the date range includes today.
New vs. Total:
The New vs. Total graph breaks down the number of enrollments over a selected time period.
This graph helps the Admin understand when new enrollments occurred in the account, and how the new enrollments affected the overall number.
View this graph in a smaller, specific time period (under 60 days) as shown on the left, or view a month-by-month breakdown of a full year shown on the right.
Finally, understand the top courses in your account by enrollment with the Top Enrolled section. This section provides a ranked list of courses by the total number of enrollments for the specified time frame. Each course entry also includes the number of enrollees that have logged into the course during the selected time period.
All of the data from this dashboard can easily be exported by clicking the Export Data button. The two types of exports include User Data and Enrollment Data:
- The User Data export provides information for any user with an active enrollment during the desired time period. The export includes summary info for each user such as Number of Courses Enrolled, Courses Completed, etc.
- The Enrollments Data export provides information for each active enrollment during the desired time period. Remember, users may enroll in multiple courses, so this download may include users with multiple enrollments. The export includes enrollment level summary information such as Completion/Progress and Engagement in the Course.
