As a Course Admin with the Configuration & Registration role included in your permission sets, you have the ability to manage anyone registered in your course through the User Management Dashboard. If you are a course admin without the Configuration & Registration Role, you will be able to view the dashboard, but will not have the ability to edit or update it.
To access the User Management Dashboard, select it from the drop-down menu on the upper right-hand corner of your screen:

This dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of all the enrolled users and their roles & permissions.
There are three types of users / user roles in a course:
- Learners / Students
- Course Admins
In the User Management Dashboard, you can view a comprehensive list of users, their course roles, email addresses, date of last login ("Last Active"), and access a shortcut to their profiles:
How to Enroll Users
You can add learners and admins either manually, or via .csv.
NovoEd provides you with a template should you choose to upload via .csv. Click "Download a Template" to begin filling out your CSV file. Once you've uploaded your CSV file, you will be able to assign roles.
To add users manually, fill out the fields below, and select the role you would like to assign to them (for learners, select "No Roles". Then, select "Add." The user will appear within their appropriate tab.
Note that you can also manually add users who are already enrolled within your organization's NovoEd Institution by searching for their name:

How to Search & Filter Users
You can look for specific users within the course from the search bar at the top of the user management dashboard. There are three ways to search for the user:
- Name (partial match)
- ID (exact match)
- Email (partial match)
If you would like to filter your users based on role, select the filter button from the top right-hand corner of the User Management Dashboard and choose the role you are looking for:
How to Edit or Unenroll Users
Users' roles can be assigned, changed, or removed from user management dashboard. Select "Unenroll" to remove a user from the course.
To edit a user's role, hover your mouse over the individual, and select the pencil icon. Then, Select "Edit Course Role."
You will be presented with a list of all available roles within your organization. Select the one that you would like to assign to the user. For more information on each role, hover over the button. If a role has more than one permission set, you can select "View Details" for more information. Select "Save" when you have assigned the new role.
Bulk unenroll by uploading a CSV of learner emails
Admins with the configuration and registration permission have access to the user management dashboard where they can upload a CSV of learner emails to bulk remove the identified participants from the course.
Participants are not notified that they've been unenrolled. The admin who unenrolled the participants will receive an email when unenrollment is complete.
