Course Admins have the ability to review and edit all release dates in your course in Course Outline Edit Mode. In all instances, the date and time that you set is relative to your time zone.
Updates can be made at three levels:
- In bulk, per Section
- In bulk, per Subsection
- Individually, per page
Release Dates and Activity Deadlines per Section or Subsection
To bulk-edit release dates within a Section, select “More Options” by hovering your mouse over the three dots next to the Section title.
To bulk-edit release dates within a Subsection, do the same as the above, but this time, next to the Subsection title:
Then, at either the Section or Subsection Level, select one of the following:
Updating Release Dates at the Section and Subsection Level:
Selecting “Release Date” will trigger a modal from which you can review the lesson pages within your Section, and edit in bulk.
Once you have selected your new time and date, scroll down to the bottom of the modal and “Update All.”
If you are moving the dates of released pages forward, make sure that you are comfortable with deleting any learner data that might have taken place on those pages. Don’t worry though! NovoEd will trigger this warning before you decide to unrelease any pages that might have learner activity:
Updating Deadlines at the Section/Subsection Level:
To update deadlines, select the second option:
This will trigger a modal at both the Section and Subsection level for you to review your activities and then adjust their deadlines. Once you are comfortable with your new time and date, select “Update All.”
Release Dates and Activity Deadlines per Individual Lesson Page
To edit release dates at the lesson-page level, hover your mouse directly over the date that appears next to the Lesson Page Title, and “click to update:”
To edit activity deadlines, select “More Options:”
