To add new learners to your course, start at the wrench in the upper right-hand corner of your course. Then click on "User Management" under the "New Features" section.
You may then add learners manually or through a .csv file. In general, when doing only a couple of registrations, inputting them manually makes sense. However, if there is a substantial number of learners to register at once, inputting their names into a .csv file first and uploading the .csv will be quicker. Once learners are added to the course, they will automatically receive an email welcoming them to the course.
Note: When instructors register learners for a paid course the learners will receive free complimentary access to the course.
If you choose to register learners manually, input the learner's name as well as their email address. Double check for any typos and remember to click 'Add' to alert the system to add the student that has been inputted.
You can also choose to upload with a CSV file by choosing 'Upload CSV'. Before choosing this option, you will need to have a saved .csv file with the learners listed in each row, with the columns as directed by the template.
Note: The CSV file must be encoded as UTF-8 for the bulk enrollment to work.
Remember to save the change after uploading.
