Once you have completed filming and editing your videos, uploading them onto the NovoEd platform is a simple process.

1. Upload Videos
NovoEd hosts videos and you can upload mp3, mp4, mov, or mpeg files of 2 GB or less. If you are uploading your own video file then we recommend you use the Video Component located in the component menu after you click on the "+ Add" button
2. Link to External Videos
To link to existing lessons on YouTube or Vimeo it is recommended to use the "Embed" component in the component menu
There you will paste the like to the video you'd like to add to that lesson page, as seen below:

3. Add Assets to your Video (slides, captions, and transcripts)
When uploading lectures, you can also upload pre-existing captions, transcripts, and slides for each video segment. Note that including the transcript or adding closed captioning to the video is necessary to make the educational content accessible to students with disabilities, which is required under various laws and regulations and is enforced by several institutions.
