NovoEd provides many different options for collaborating online with your team, including:
Writing on the Team Message Board
Visit your team workspace by clicking on your team icon.
From the Team Workspace, you can post a private message to your teammates.
After any new activity, your teammates will receive an email alert and notification that something new has started on the Team Workspace.
Collaboration with Documents
You can also use the Team Workspace upload a document and share it with your teammates. Click on the "Upload a Document" icon.
File sizes of up to 750MB and the following types of files are accepted: .doc, .docx, or .pdf; .ppt, .pptx; .jpeg, .jpg, or .png; .xls or .xlsx; .mp4, .mov, .avi, or .flv
Your team members will only have the ability to download your documents.
Share Your Work
You can share any of your already submitted individual (non-team) submissions from the course directly with your teammates to get their comments/feedback.
By clicking on "Share Your Work", you will be prompted to select from the library of submissions you have created in the course. You may add a personal note to your teammates requesting comments.
Schedule a Meeting
You can propose a meeting using the "Create a Meeting" button. We recommend first sharing a few times/dates over the messaging board to find a good time.
When you create a meeting, the meeting will be shown in your timezone, but teammates in different timezones will automatically see the meeting time adjusted to their timezone. If you have questions about timezones on NovoEd, see here.
The suggested meeting will show up in the Team's To-Do's (email and notification are also sent).
Your teammates will be able to respond with when they are available.
