To make edits and changes to a lesson page, you may go directly to the page and click on the gear icon on the top right corner to open a menu of options.
After clicking the gear icon, you will be able to enter Edit Mode by selecting the "Edit Content" option in the dropdown. In Edit Mode, you will have the ability to add, edit, delete, copy, and move lesson components.
Adding Lesson Components:
To add lesson components you just need to click on the “+ Add” button where you want to add a component (as seen below).
The different components include: rich text, templates, videos, audio, resources, assignments, quizzes, timed exams, surveys, team formation, group formation, discussions, Submission carousel, Private Feedback, Public Feedback, Embed, SCORM File, and LTI tools.
Editing, Moving, & Copying Existing Components:
When in Edit Mode, select the pencil icon next to each piece of content to see the Edit Options. The specific options available will vary with the type of component selected, but will include options to copy, move, and delete the component selected.
Editing the Header:
If the card view is enabled, the image uploaded to a lesson header will be used on the cards. If a background color is used as a header background, instead of an image that color will be used for card view (see How to Enable Card View).
When in Edit Mode, the header can be edited from the Edit Header drop-down in the top left of the page.
Reordering Page Components:
When viewing a lesson page (not in Edit Mode), click on the gear icon on the top right corner to enter Reorder Mode. Then, reorder by simply clicking the blue arrows up or down as seen below!
Deleting a Lesson Page:
When viewing a lesson page (not in Edit Mode), click on the gear icon on the top right corner of the page, and select “Delete” to delete the entire lesson page. You will be asked to confirm you are sure before the page is deleted.
Lesson pages can also be deleted from the course outline, by using the wrench icon to enter Edit Mode and then accessing the more options menu for that lesson.
