What does Google account integration enable?
The Google Account integration enables Google Documents, which allow for the creation of documents, spreadsheets, and slideshows that can be edited collaboratively by all members of your team. The documents are secure, and can only be accessed by members of your team.
Why is my Google email shown to my teammates?
By utilizing the Google Documents a part of the team workspace, your Google email address is visible to your teammates in the Google Documents viewer. In order to ensure your Google Documents are viewable and editable only by members of the team, secure permissions are granted individually to each member of the team. When specific permissions are directly granted, Google displays the email addresses of the collaborators.
Does NovoEd access all of your Google Drive folders if integration is accepted?
No! NovoEd can only access the files in your Google Drive that are created in the team workspace. Other files in your Google Drive cannot be touched, looked at, or accessed in any way, shape, or form.
How can I enable Google account integration if I do not want to accept the terms?
You can easily create a new Google account to use only for Google account integration with the team workspace. The account you use for team workspace collaboration tools does not have to be the same email address you have as your primary NovoEd email address that you use to sign in.

How can I collaborate with my team if I decline Google account integration?
Some collaboration features are still available to use, including team messaging, meeting scheduling, and even the ability to upload/download documents to/from the team workspace. Although workspace-integrated Google Documents and Google Hangouts are unavailable, your team can still decide on other additional options for collaboration, including Skype, among other programs. We do, however, highly recommend making sure all teammates understand what collaboration tools are being used for assignments and projects.
