Note: Groups are not always enabled. If groups are enabled and you are interested in starting a group, see here first.
There are two methods your peers can join your private group: through an invitation from a group admin or by requesting to join a private group.
1) Group Admin Invitation to Join Group
As a group admin, you have the ability to add new members to the group. You can either add them as upon group creation by clicking on the "+ Add Member" symbol
Or by clicking on the "+ Add Member" symbol in your group workspace:
Then, simply find a peers from the directory who you want to add. Click the 'add to group' button.
The learners receiving the requests are alerted to the invitation, and are given the option to accept or decline.
2) Peer Requests to Join Group Accepted
Others can request to join the group simply through clicking the 'Request to Join' button they will see on the private group page.
Group Admins will then be notified of membership requests by email and push notification.
