Statements of Accomplishment (SOA or Certificate of Completion) is a certificate declaring a learner's successful completion of a course. It appears at the bottom of the learner dashboard depicted in the image below when available.
Courses with a Statement of Accomplishment enabled grants learners certification declaring that they have fulfilled all requirements. If auto-completion is enabled, learners will receive their statements upon completing a course's threshold. Reciprocally, if auto-completion is disabled, course admins can determine when learners will receive their statements.
To Access Your Statement of Accomplishment
- Log into NovoEd.
- On your learner dashboard, select the icon displaying how many courses you have completed.
- For the completed course, select the "View Statement of Accomplishment" button. The Statement of Accomplishment will open in a pop-up modal.
Why Have I Not Received My Statement?
- Course Requirements: Requirements for receiving a Statement of Accomplishment will vary by course. If you were unable to receive a statement, please ensure that all course requirements are complete by visiting the To-Do and Points sections of the course homepage. In case you completed the course requirements, but have not received a statement of accomplishment, please contact your teaching team to ask about the eligibility requirements.
- Spam Blocker: You may not have received an email confirmation of your completion due to the message being flagged by your email service provider. We recommend checking your Spam/Junk folders. In any case, you can log into NovoEd to access your Statement of Accomplishment directly.
In the case that you are auditing a course, you will not be able to submit assignments to receive a Statement of Accomplishment, but this will still allow you to access course content.
