Statements of Accomplishment (SOA or Certificate of Completion) is a certificate declaring a learner's successful completion of a course. It appears at the bottom of the learner dashboard depicted in the image below when available.
Courses with Statement of Accomplishment enabled grants learners certification declaring that they have fulfilled all requirements. If auto-completion is enabled, learners will receive their statements upon completing a course's threshold. Reciprocally, if auto-completion is disabled, course admins can determine when learners will receive their statements.
Paid-For Courses
Learners who registered for a paid course, the (optional) certificate will only receive their statement of accomplishment upon completion of payment.
Why Have I Not Received my Statement?
If you were unable to receive a statement, please ensure that all course requirements are complete. In case you completed the course requirements, but have not received a statement of accomplishment, please reach out to your teaching team.
Requirements for receiving a Statement of Accomplishment will vary by course. In most courses, you will find out more details on your eligibility visiting a page under "Course Information", whether from a Syllabus or a designated content page regarding the specific criteria.
In the case that you do not see a relevant page presented, you can contact your teaching team to ask about the eligibility requirements.
In the case that you are auditing a course, you will not be able to submit assignments to receive a Statement of Accomplishment, but this will still allow you to access course content.
