Within your course, you have the ability to mark lecture components as "To-dos". You can mark a survey, quiz, assignment, and discussion as a to-do. By doing so, it will appear in the To-dos tab on the Course Homepage. And with any lecture page with a "To-do" item, the lecture page will not be marked as "Completed" until all "To-do" items are complete.
This will allow you to prioritize and highlight lecture components from your course.
In this example, the "Course Welcome" lecture page still has a "To-do" item for the learner to complete.
When editing your lecture page, you will notice a checkmark button stating "Mark as a to-do" for any lecture quiz, assignment, survey, and discussion. Make sure you are in Edit Mode to view this button.
Once you click on the checkmark, it will turn orange to confirm that the activity has been registered as a to-do:
For learners, they can view the list of their "To-do" items directly from the Course Homepage.
